Over the past five years, Sister Jeanne Thomas Danahy has put quite a few miles on her car as the effervescent director of ministry development for the Sisters of Mercy New York, Pennsylvania, Pacific West Community, traveling to the community’s stateside areas to visit its sponsored ministries and the people who stir them to life daily.

Linda Johnson came to the monthly Taizé Prayer at the Sisters of Mercy Motherhouse, Erie, Pennsylvania, to sing in the choir, or schola, at the request of Sister Rita Panciera, Taize coordinator. But over time, something deeper took root.
