Sister Janice Kaiser received the Coastal Family Health Center’s Lifetime Achievement Award at the organization’s 50th Anniversary Gala on Saturday, October 24, in Gulfport, Mississippi.

During the event, Sister Martha Milner (deceased) and the Sisters of Mercy were thanked for their vital role in advancing the organization’s mission. However, the evening’s highlight came when Sister Janice was presented with the gala’s most prestigious award.

Janice was recognized for her tireless advocacy and compassionate service. She is known for giving voice to the voiceless, offering reassurance and hope, and showing them that someone cares.

Her co-workers described her a faithful presence, a steady leader, a compassionate listener, and someone who always goes the extra mile. She will be remembered not only as a valued colleague but also as the creator of the Positivity Ambassador position—a role that reflects her belief of always looking for the good in every situation and serves as a reminder of why the work matters and how deeply it touches the lives of those served.

Through her example, she showed that health care is more than a service provided. It is a commitment lived each day that profoundly touches the lives of others. Her legacy will live on through the colleagues she inspired, the programs she built, and the many lives she touched with her compassion and caring.

Congratulations to Janice for this well-deserved recognition and remarkable achievement!
