Age 95

Sister Patricia was a devoted woman of deep faith who was always present and focused on the positive.

Born in Marlboro, Massachusetts, she entered the Sisters of Mercy at the age of 21 in Manchester, New Hampshire. She earned a bachelor’s degree in history and education from Mount St. Mary College in Hooksett, New Hampshire, and a master’s degree in education from Keene State College in Keene, New Hampshire.

A dedicated educator who taught primary grades for 21 years in the Boston, Massachusetts Archdiocese and the Manchester, New Hampshire diocese, she also served as principal for two years at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Manchester, New Hampshire.

In 1974, Sister Pat began a ministry in support services at the former Sacred Heart Hospital and Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, New Hampshire. At Sacred Heart hospital, she worked in medical records and at Catholic Medical Center she was a quality assurance analyst and a networks administrative assistant. From 1991 until her retirement in 1996, she was a secretary with the Catholic Medical Center Optima Health Outreach Program.

For the past 22 years, she resided at Warde Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Windham, New Hampshire.
