I was born and raised in Minnesota, and attended the University of Minnesota for my undergraduate degree in history. I received graduate degrees from Southern Illinois University and Arizona State University, focused on American Indian history.
I first encountered the Sisters of Mercy while in Cambodia, where I was missioned with the Maryknoll Sisters, with whom I was discerning at the time. It was the fourth vow of service that drew me to the Sisters of Mercy.
I professed my temporary vows in April 2026, and I currently minister with individuals who are differently abled.
When I have the time, I enjoy running, reading (my favorite book is To Kill a Mockingbird), and listening to classic rock.
