I grew up in Hiloctugan, Carigara Leyte, part of the Visayas area of the Philippines. I know that God led me to Sisters of Mercy, and I love the charism of mercy and service

In my spare time, I love reading and working in the garden, and I like to sleep with instrumental music in the background. My favorite book is A Child Called “It” by Dave Pelzer. Although the book is about the author’s life-threatening plight as the victim of child abuse, what inspires me is his unyielding determination. I also enjoy Seeds of Sensitivity: Deepening Your Spiritual Life by Robert J. Wicks; the content of this book helps me deepen my understanding of my own sensitivity, and in turn deepen my spiritual life.
