I was born in Alexandria, Virginia and grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland. I was also able to spend summers visiting extended family in Ecuador. I moved to Boston, Massachusetts to attend MIT, where I majored in chemical and biological engineering. I lived in California for 16 years until I returned to the East Coast.

I was drawn to the Sisters of Mercy because of their commitment to compassion, service, and social justice, as expressed in the Mercy fourth vow of service; I was also attracted to the community’s Critical Concerns for the Earth, immigration, nonviolence, racism and women.

Currently, I work as a chaplain with Trinity Health PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly). I love what I do.

I like to spend time outdoors in nature, going for walks or running. I also love playing cards or board games, watching movies and listening to music. I like a range of musical styles, from contemporary Christian to dance hits to international music.
