Martin, S.J, James. Building a Bridge: How the Catholic Church and the LGBT Community Can Enter Into a Relationship of Respect, Compassion, and Sensitivity. NY, NY: HarperOne, 2017. It remains to be seen if this kind of bridge building is possible, but the idea bears consideration.
