Where We Are
One Mission, Many Locations
It would be hard to show on a map where each of our more than 3,000 sisters lives and works but you can find us in many U.S. states, in Latin America, Jamaica, Guam and the Philippines. This map highlights some of the ministries sponsored and in some cases begun by the Sisters of Mercy based in the surrounding areas. The map also shows the many cities where sisters serve in ministries founded and operated by other groups serving those who are economically poor--in parishes, hospitals, social service organizations and more.
In addition to these works, the ministry of prayer, support and accompanying those in need is a role that Sisters of Mercy perform throughout our lives.
You can also click one of the maps below to learn more about each of our local Communities who sponsor these ministries—their history, leadership, what they do and how you can help.
Share in our mission by becoming a sister, associate, Mercy Volunteer Corps member, social justice advocate, by making a donation, or by volunteering at our life-giving ministries.
